With the REP Athena Selectorised Dual Side-Mounted Functional Trainer, you don’t have to worry about finding space for an extra cable machine in your gym. This low-profile attachment comes as part of a 6-post PR-4000 configuration, consisting of two 170lb / 77kg (which can be upgraded to two massive 220lb / 97.7kg weight stacks) weight stacks that attach to either side of the rack and offer all the versatility of a freestanding dual cable machine. The weight stacks are made from hot-rolled steel and operate at a 2:1 ratio, which means 20lbs feels like 10lbs. The PR-4000’s durability is reinforced with heavy-duty bolts, which require 2 x 24mm sockets/spanner if you’re building the rack yourself. Integrated resistance band pegs are positioned at the base of the unit, providing the option to up the resistance to a maximum weight of 540lbs / 245kg. Light and smooth trolleys feature knurled handles and oversized pop-pins, meaning they’re easy to reposition up or down the uprights with just one hand. The front pulleys benefit from a 180° swivel for extra versatility when working outside the power rack. Two urethane D handles are included. The two weight stacks fit neatly within the extension of this 6-post configuration. The frame is built from heavy-duty 3×3” 11-gauge steel and boasts a 1000lb / 454kg rackable maximum weight capacity. This kit includes a pair of traditional, easy-to-install Pin-Pipe Safeties for peace of mind during your heavy lifts, a pair of durable Standard J-Cups and a 1.25” Pull-Up Bar. The rack can be further customised to your exact liking with REP’s PR-4000 vast range of additional attachments – just select from the list of add-ons to really make your setup your own. Available in your choice of height (80” / 209.24 cm or 93” / 239.24 cm) and colour (Metallic Black or Red).
