The Ares Cable Attachment from REP offers all the functionality required for heavy cable workouts inside the rack, meaning you don’t have to take up any extra floor space with an entire freestanding cable machine. This fully integrated attachment comes as part of a 4-post or 6-post PR-4000 configuration, and consists of two 260lb / 118kg weight stacks (which can be upgraded to two monstrous 310lb / 140kg weight stacks) that can be used either independently or connected for heavier exercises. The weight plates are manufactured from hot-rolled steel, with a machined finish that ensures durability and operate on a 2:1 ratio. Selecting your weight is easy, with a magnetic pin that stays secure during lifts. A metallic black shroud completes the look, with a recessed stainless steel REP logo and laser cut windows that let you see the weight moving. The PR-4000’s durability is reinforced with heavy-duty bolts, which require 2 x 24mm sockets/spanner if you’re building the rack yourself. The front pulleys swivel 180° for extra versatility when training to the side of the rack and are easily moveable with just one hand thanks to knurled handles and pop-pins. The patent-pending trolleys are even lined with a special plastic to protect your uprights. The Ares features more than 30 aluminium pulleys in total, all working in tandem to keep the cables on track. The Ares Multi-Functional Trainer comes with a pair of Urethane D Handles, a knurled lat pull-down bar and low row bar, a footplate for low rows, a connector banana and four 2.5lb weights for micro adjustments. This kit comes as either a 4-post or 6-post PR-4000 configuration. The frame is built from heavy-duty 3×3” 11-gauge steel and boasts a 1000lb / 454kg rackable maximum weight capacity. A pair of durable Standard J-Cups are also included with the 4-post version, whereas the 6-post option adds a 1.25” Pull-Up Bar and a pair of Pin-Pipe Safeties.
