The Body-Solid G9U is the new, upgraded version of the G9S. Its 2″ x 4″, 11-gauge mainframe construction assures maximum strength, function and durability, with a tough, durable and electrostatically applied powder coat finish. Featured on the G9U is a multi-function Press Arm Station for bench press, incline press, shoulder press and chest supported mid row exercises, with a biomechanically designed traditional Press Bar for maximum chest concentration and outstanding muscle development. Alongside that is a Perfect Pec™ Station with fully adjustable range of motion allowing users to achieve deeper muscle penetration for faster, more defined results, and a Leg Press/Calf Press Station which operates on a 2 to 1 weight ratio, giving the G9S the awesome capacity of a 420 lb leg press. The G9U also offers 2 selectorised weight stacks comprising 210 lb (95kg). Its 4½” pulleys are made with impact resistant fiberglass, reinforced nylon and precision machined steel ball bearings, whilst the military spec, steel aircraft cables with a 2,200 lb. tension strength and swivelling ends offer excellent durability and require minimal maintenance. These cables can also be upgraded to 2 x 260lb stacks (BSSP50). Its non-slip, rubber encased foot plate, constructed of heavy-gauge steel, offers safe and efficient operation during even the most intense workouts, and with SmoothGlide Bearing System™ that offers a biomechanically accurate pivot point and integrated CAM to prevent resistance drop-off at the end of the exercise movement, you’re provided with consistent resistance throughout full range of motion. Featuring self-aligning, contoured leg extension cuffs that automatically adjust throughout the exercise movement, your comfort and positioning remain key, which is further enhanced via the quick, yet smooth adjustment of the telescoping, chrome plated, gas-assist adjustable seat posts.
