A mixed-use bar, the Vulcan Barbell has dual knurl markings for correct hand placement when Olympic lifting or powerlifting. Volcano-style, IWF standard knurling provides a good grip throughout movements without being uncomfortably aggressive. The Vulcan Bar is built from Alloy steel, with a special heat treatment for longevity. The surface is finished in attractive black chrome, with hard chrome sleeves that rotate smoothly with no noise, enhanced by 8 bearings and 2 bushings. This bar has a shaft diameter of 28.5 mm, a length of 2200 mm (just over 7 ft), a tensile strength of 195,000 PSI, no central knurling and a maximum load capacity of 1500 lb / 680 kg.
